Action urged following cruel killing of foal in the city

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Immediate action needs to be taken in the wake of the cruel torture and killing of a foal in the city recently.
That’s according to Sinn Féin Councillor Mairéad Farrell.
She says issues need to be tackled to ensure that a similar killing doesn’t happen again.
Galway Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is investigating the killing of the foal in Castlepark, which was apparently witnessed by a number of young people.
Speaking to Galway Bay fm News, Councillor Farrell says there needs to be more Gardaí on the streets and horses taken out of housing estates.
