ACC GRANTED POSSESSION OF KILCOLGAN HOME

The High Court has granted an order to ACC Bank to possess a family home in Kilcolgan.

Mr. Justice Brian McGovern granted the repossession order as the last repayment for the home was in May 2007.

According to today’s Irish Times, the couple took out the mortgage of 425 thousand euro for the Kilcolgan home in 2004.

Various repayment agreements were made but were not honoured, including that the home would be sold along with a home in Cyprus.

Arrears now stand at 152 thousand euro and the total owed to ACC Bank is more than half a million euro.
