ABBEYKNOCKMOY VILLAGE TO SEE DRASTIC CHANGE

The village of Abbeyknockmoy is set for major change.

Galway County Council has given the go-ahead to Gerard Delaney and Paddy Mannion to demolish ‘The Abbey Inn’ and two adjacent houses.

In its place, they’ll build a new mixed-use development up to 3 stories in height.

Gerard Delaney and Paddy Mannion plan to build a new pub in place of the Abbey Inn aswell as 2 apartments and 2 duplex units.

Included in the new scheme will be a unit for financial services business, office and retail units, apartments and houses.
