ABBEYKNOCKMOY LIBERTAS LEADER NOT RULING OUT RUNNING FOR DAIL

Libertas leader, Declan Ganley, says the possibilty of him running for a Dáil seat depends on the ratification of the Lisbon treaty.

The Abbeyknockmoy man says that if Europe ratify the ‘yes vote’, the Dáil would have diminished powers, which he is not in favour of.

Mr. Ganley was responding to speculation that he may try to become a T.D. in the Galway East constituency.
