84 NEW HOMES APPROVED AT CASTLEGAR DEVELOPMENT

Phase two of a large housing estate on the city outskirts has got the green light.

Joseph Joyce has been granted permission to build the 84 new units as phase two of the residential development on the Castlegar Road, along the N84 Galway to Headford Road.

The development will include 70 townhouses and 14 apartments.

City planners attached 33 conditions to their approval including a requirement that two units in one apartment block be omitted and car parking spaces added.
