80 IRISH MARINE JOBS ON OFFER AT CITY SHOWCASE

80 Irish marine job opportunities are on offer at a showcase being held in the Global village in the city today and tomorrow.

A variety of companies from the marine sector are actively recruiting jobseekers in areas including research, technology, energy, shipping and cruise line hospitality.

As part of the Ocean Weath Showcase, 220 jobs are on offer in total, 80 of which are Irish based with the remaining 140 jobs abroad.

Along with recruitment there will be information for those who wish to take up training and education in the marine sector.

Headed by the Marine Institute and Smart Ocean Ireland, the event is being held in the Global Village at South Park until 7 this evening and tomorrow Friday from 10am to 7pm.
