63% INCREASE IN USERS ACCESSING GALWAY YOUTH MENTAL HEALTH SERVICE
Galway bay fm newsroom – There’s been a 63% increase in young people accessing mental health services in Galway.
Jigsaw Galway, which offers support to people aged 15-25, has released the figures to co-incide with it’s fifth year in operation.
The youth service has provided support to over 3,500 people since it opened in Mary street in the city in December 2008.
Due to increase in demand, it’s now located in a much larger facility on Fairgreen road, directly across from the news coach station.
