60+ shows for 2016 Comedy Carnival

The Vodafone Comedy Carnival returns to Galway with over 60 shows across the city in the last week of October.

Headline acts at this year’s Comedy Carnival will include big names like Tommy Tiernan, Jason Manford and Milton Jones as well as newcomers such as The Boy With Tape On His Face who was a big hit on America’s Got Talent this year.

The main venue will be the iconic Spiegeltent which returns to Eyre Square and it will be partnered with a new venue – The Red Box – also in the Square.

Comedy fans of all types will be well catered for with musical, improve, mime and clown acts bringing their shows to town in the week leading up to Hallowe’en.

The Vodafone Comedy Carnival launch will take place at the Roisín Dubh on Friday 26^th August from 8.00 with appearances from Fred Cooke, Steve Bennett and The Rubber Bandits.
