6 MILLION EURO WRITTEN OFF BY HSE WEST

The Health Minister, Dr. James Reilly is to be challenged today [14/9] to find out why the HSE West has written off 6 million euro in debt.

County Councillor Shaun Cunniffe, who’s a member of the HSE West Regional Health Forum, says the HSE has confirmed that 18 million euro is due from private health insurers.

The money has not been collected because consultants have not signed off on the paperwork.

Councillor Cunniffe says it’s outrageous that millions are writtten off because of paperwork.
