Galway Bay fm newsroom – Nine expressions of interest have been received for work on the N59 road improvement project in Moycullen.
These are now being assessed as part of the initial pre-qualification process.
The scheme involves work on 12 hundred metres of roadway to the east of Moycullen village.
It commences near Kylebroghlan road and continues to the east of the Clydagh bridge.
Works include full pavement construction, widening of existing carriageways and the replacement of the Clydagh bridge structure.
The pre-qualification phase is due to conclude in two weeks time.
Galway County Council will then readvertise the tender.
