35 MILLION IN FUNDING FOR GALWAY RURAL GROUPS

Galway is to benefit from EU and State funding to the tune of almost 35 million euro.

Galway Rural Development Company Ltd has been awarded 15.2 million euro and FORUM Connemara will receive 9.6 million euro from the LEADER Rural Development Programme announced by Minister Eamon O’Cuiv.

The county can also expect to benefit from 4.6 million euro granted to Comhar na nOileán Teo and from 17.2 million euro granted to Meitheal Forbartha na Gaeltachta Teo.

The money will be provided over the next 5 years.
