Over 300 hundred motorists in Galway have received penalty points for running red lights in the first year since the fines were introduced

Known as “amber gamblers”, the Road Safety Authority says people who run through red lights are putting pedestrians’ lives at risk

According to today’s Irish Independent, over 8,000 people nationwide, up to the end of May, got penalty points for running red lights
