3 percent increase in Galway car sales

There was a 3 percent increase in car sales in Galway last month, compared to the same month last year.

According to the Society of the Irish Motor Industry, 216 cars were registered in Galway in April, compared to 209 in April 2012.

This compares to 2 thousand 880, which were registered in Dublin.

The SIMI says the market is now operating at about half of normal levels.
