3 MILLION EURO TO IMPROVE BALLINASLOE WATER SERVICES

Approval has been given to Galway County Council by Minister for the Environment Phil Hogan to proceed with major works on Ballinasloe town’s water services.

Advance works for watermains rehabilitation and a main drainage works project, at an estimated cost of over 3 million euro, are to be carried out.

The improvements to Ballinasloe’s water services are being funded under the Department of Environment’s Water Investment Programme 2010-1012.

The works will greatly expand the quality and scale of the water and wastewater infrastructure in Ballinasloe.
