25 JOBS LOSSES IN TUAM COMPANY

The slow down in the economy has hit a Tuam based car components company.

It’s been confirmed to Galway Bay FM news that a total of 25 employees are to lose their jobs at Valeo Vision Systems.

In a statement, the company says ‘the situation is as a result of declining sales in the automotive industry’.

At present there are a total of 261 employees at the plant on the Dunmore Road.
