23 GALWAY COMPANIES GO BUST IN LAST THREE MONTHS

23 Galway companies have gone bust in the last three months.

That’s according to new figures released by insolvency journal dot ie.

It brings the number of Galway companies becoming insolvent so far this year to 76, an average of 8 every month.

The figures are almost identical to last year, when 72 Galway registered companies went bust during the first 9 months of the year.

Nationally, corporate insolvency figures from the end of September show an 8 per cent decrease on last quarter’s numbers.

The number of examinership appointments for the same period has also dropped for the third month in a row.
