21 JOB LOSSES AT GALWAY CITY RENAULT BRANCH

21 staff are to lose their jobs next month following a decision by Renault to wind up its Galway city operations.

There has been a Renault garage on the Tuam Road for many decades with Bill Cullen taking it over in 2000.

The firm is also to wind up its Ennis base which is operated as a sub-outlet of the main Galway branch and employs 9 staff.

Sales at the Taum Road dealership will continue until Friday and aftersales and services will be delivered until July 6th.
