200 gather for protest over Ros a Mhil road

Around 200 people have gathered for a protest at a road in Rossaveal this lunchtime where a teenager lost her life.

15 year old Leah Doherty was fatally injured when she was hit by a car while out walking with a friend at about 9:45pm on Wednesday the 1st of May.

Protestors are calling on the council to construct a footpath at the road, however they say if the local authority provides the materials, local people will build it themselves.
