2 MILLION EURO BRIDGE ON SCHEDULE FOR PORTUMNA

There’s welcome news for the south Galway area as a new swing bridge will be in place in Portumna by the 3rd of November.

The bridge on the N65 over the river Shannon has been in a state of disrepair for some time, however a new swingspan section for the bridge has been built.

The new section will be lowered onto the bridge by a crane between the 25th of October and the 3rd of November.
