160 new jobs for Galway at online retailer Wayfair

US-owned online retailer Wayfair is to announce 160 new jobs for Galway this morning.

The company, which specialises in home furnishings and décor, is expanding its new European Operations Centre on the Tuam Road in the building formerly known as Connaught House.

Wayfair will be performing an official ribbon-cutting ceremony on the new 30,000 square foot premises at around 10am, and the jobs will be announced shortly afterwards.

The new roles include positions in customer service, inbound sales, business account management, finance, supplier operations, business analysts, recruitment, training and IT services.

The company was previously based in a building in Mervue Business Park.
