€121k TO PREVENT FLOODING IN MENLO

€121k is to be spent on flood prevention works in Menlo.
The money is being provided to Galway City Council by the Office of Public Works.
The work will see water piped along a channel from the Turlough to Lough Corrib instead of the original proposal of piping the water from the Turlough to a swallow hole.
