11 thousand Galway farmers to get department payments
Galway Bay fm newsroom – Over 11 thousand farmers in Galway are to get support payments from the Department of Agriculture in the near future.
The SPS payment is being sent out to 11,383 of 11,708 eligible farmers, which represents a 97 percent payment rate.
Galway East TD Ciaran Cannon says these payments will be a welcome boost ahead of Christmas and following a bad start to the farming year.
