€100K FOR FLOOD WORKS EAST GALWAY

Over one hundred thousand euro has been allocated for flood mitigation works in East Galway.

The Office of Public Works is providing just over €47k for a project in Thornfield in Portumna, and €27k for both Drim Village and the Portumna to Ennis Road at St. Joseph’s Road junction.

Galway East TD Micheál Kitt says the measures will help alleviate flooding some areas coming into the Winter again.
