100 new jobs announced at HP Galway

Galway Bay fm newsroom – There’s a jobs boost for Galway with the announcement that Hewlett Packard is to create 100 new high-tech jobs in Ballybrit.
The investment is for the company’s OpenStack Cloud Services.
It’s part of HP’s plans to expand the global reach of cloud products and services.
The new jobs, which are supported by IDA Ireland, will be based at the state-of-the-art centre in Ballybrit, which is under construction.
An Taoiseach, Enda Kenny has commented on the jobs announcement which is being made at HP Global Headquarters in California this evening.
He says it’s a boost for Ireland and the ICT sector in particular.
