100 new jobs are to be created in Mervue, Tuam and Ballinasloe under the Government’s 2 million euro programme to promote entrepreneurship.
The aim is to create and sustain jobs in each area, by protecting and growing new and existing businesses.
Nationally, business development managers are to be appointed at 37 community enterprises centres with a forecast of 848 new jobs.
A new business development manager will be appointed at Action Tuam Limited, another at Galway Technology Centre in Mervue Business Park, and a third position has been created at Ballinasloe Area Community Development Limited.
Minister for Jobs Enterprise and Innovation Richard Bruton says these three centres should create 100 new jobs in the next two years
